When Ron Knabb began his professional career in 1962 he dedicated himself to working with clients as partners in the design process. The Knabb Partnership (TKP) has furvently continued that tradition.  By listening to needs, visualizing goals, and analyzing requirements, the firm has been able to imagine creative solutions that successfully achieve both budget restrictions and exceed the clinet's design expectations.

Originally established in 1971 the general practice architectural firm formally evolved into The Knabb Partnership in 1990. Lee Schreiner became a partner and the firm continued to grow as a full service architectural practice, thoroughly experienced in all building types and uses.  The mature experience of the senior partners provides strong leadership for the full team of architectural professionals that now comprise the firm.  The ultimate organization of TKP now also includes the addition into the partnership of     E. J. Messersmith, a Philadelphia practitioner for thirty-five years, whose diverse and competent experience compliments the team.  Collectively, this group of architects has earned numerous design awards and many citations acknowledging their achievements for service to the profession.

TKP, building upon their combined experience of over 150 years, has expanded to include facilities evaluation, program development, feasibility studies and master planning services. These long-range services are critical to any entity attempting to make informed decisions concerning future growth.

The Knabb Partnership has established an enviable record for both planning and design.
